ELIZABETH HOWELL FORD "GRAND DARLING"

Elizabeth Howell Ford peacefully transitioned from labor to reward Sunday, Aug. 26, 2910, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Elizabeth was born to Joshua and Hattie Raymor Howell May 1, 1923, and spent most of her life in Wayne County.
She retired from Cherry Hospital with 32 years of service.
To cherish her memories are her loving, devoted children, Jimmie Ford (Priscilla), Bernadette F. Reese, Gloria F. Miller and Charlie Ford Jr. (Althea) of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Rogerline Bryant; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
A special nephew, Josh Howell III of California, a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and the Barnes Chapel Church family.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug., 30, 2018, from 11 a.m. to noon at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1108 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
Homegoing services will follow immediately at noon.
Professional services are entrusted to McIntyre Funeral Home.
