KERMIT SHELTON PRICE

Kermit Shelton Price, 74, Mount Olive resident, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 14, 2018.
He was retired with the North Carolina Employment Security Commission, where he had been a manager.
He was a charter member of the Neuse Hunting Club, a member of the Mount Olive Executive Club and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, where he was a member. Dr. Dennis Atwood will officiate.
The family will receive friends in the Christian Life Center of the church during the hour before the service.
Interment will be private.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Cathy Price of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Jill Price of Kinston; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Price Lee and Jason Lee of Clayton; four grandchildren, Cole Price, J. T. Lee, Campbell Price and Price Lee; and his canine companion, “Jack.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit L. Price and Lillian Jernigan Price, and his sister and brother-in-law, Carol P. and Richard Kaleel.
Arrangements are by Tyndall Funeral Home.
