Mrs. Mary "Lil Lia" Elizabeth Dyer Davis, 80, 200 Winslow Circle, passed Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at home.
A celebration of her life will be Sunday, Aug. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship, 1401 N. Carolina St., Goldsboro, with pastor Timothy L. Dortch officiating. She will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. 117 South, Dudley.
There will be a viewing Saturday, Aug. 11, from 3 to 7 p.m., with the family arriving to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
She was born Dec, 31, 1937, in Wayne County.
She is survived by her loving husband, Odell Davis; daughters, Monique Reaves, Linda Savage and Brenda Sanders; sons, Hillary Dyer and Eddie Spencer; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
