M. ANN PENUEL MCKEEL

M. Ann Penuel McKeel, 75, passed away suddenly Monday, July 16.
Ann was born May 3, 1943, in Wayne County to the late Edgar and Mildred Howell Penuel.
For many years, Ann worked as a beautician in Goldsboro.
Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Goldsboro. She was also a member of the Goldsboro Rescue Auxiliary. Her most significant role in life and what she did best was being a loving wife and mother.
A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Glenn Phillips and the Rev. Scott Trailkill officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Ann is survived by her husband of 46 years, Doug McKeel; children, James “Tim” Thomas and wife, Lisa, Kathy Thomas Anders and Patricia Roberts; brother, Glen Penuel and wife, Janet; grandchildren, Jeremy Anders, Clint Roberts and Tiffany Roberts; and a great-grandchild, Jackson Anders.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edgar A. Penuel, Elton Ray Penuel and William Lawrence Penuel.
