ELOISE ISLER BATTLE

Eloise Battle, 89, daughter of the late John William and Della Uzzell Isler, and wife of the late Henry Lee “Buck” Battle Sr., entered into this life Oct. 13, 1928, in Wayne County, N.C. The Lord called home his blessed angel from labor to reward Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
She graduated from Pikeville Training School.
Eloise’s life joy was her children and grandchildren.
She leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished by her four daughters, Dianne B. McKiver, Debra Battle, Heloise B. Wilkerson and Sharon Battle; two sons, Henry Lee Battle Jr. am Michael Battle all of Goldsboro; one sister, Della Isler McCullough; and one brother, Wilbert Isler both of Goldsboro.
Visitation will b held Friday, May 11, 2018, from 2 to 7 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family will arrive to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciple of Christ, 700 W. Ash St., Goldsboro, with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro.
