HENRY E. RICKMAN

Henry Eddie Rickman, native and resident of South Boston, Va., and former resident of Wayne County, N.C., passed away Monday evening, Feb. 26, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.
He was a retired supervisor with J.P. Stevens Co.
Mr. Rickman is survived by his wife, Jean Talbott Rickman, with whom he had shared 60 years of marriage; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Justin Heath of Mount Olive, N.C., and Brenda and Eugene Strickland of Goldsboro, N.C.; four grandchildren, Lee Ann Smith and husband, Chad, Jo Ann Smith and husband, Joshua, Jessica Strickland and Joshua Strickland; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis Carter, Jaylen Davis and Elijah, Makayla, Caleb, Ethan and Hannah Smith; and a brother and sister-in-law, James Edward and Ruby Rickman of South Boston, Va.
The life of Mr. Rickman will be remembered in a graveside service Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor Justin Heath, pastor Chad Smith and pastor Joshua Smith will preside.
The family will be receiving friends at the Heath residence on Valley Road, Mount Olive.
