Fred Alfred Bowser, 88, Fremont, died Saturday at Avante at Wilson.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Hertford County to Leslie and Alice Manley Bowser.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7, at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
