Samuel P. Carlton, 77, 290 Mother Gaston Blvd., Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Mount Olive, died Tuesday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
He was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Duplin County to Euria and Annie Bass Carlton.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation will an hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at 222 Wingspread Drive, Goldsboro, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
