Jeffrey Wayne Best, 56, Kenly, passed away peacefully Jan. 12, 2018, surrounded by his family at his home in Kenly after a 10-year battle with cancer.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Jeff was a charter member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church, and led countless church-building mission trips across the country.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Laura; his two sons, Jacob Best and wife, Kimberly, and Joshua Best and wife, Morgan; his grandson, Hudson; his mother, Dorothy; his two sisters, Phyllis Best and Diane Andolsen; his beloved German shorthaired Pointers, Ike, Scout and Annie; and many other loving members of his family.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Borden Best.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Raleigh Road Baptist Church, 4150 Raleigh Road Parkway West, Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations may be given to Raleigh Road Baptist Church.
