Cleveland Edward Scott, 88, died Friday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service, followed by a service in the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Whindham officiating. Burial will be in Kenly Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Wayne County to the late Cleveland Eugene and Esther Sullivan Scott. He was married to Virginia Mae Bass Scott.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
