IMOGENE J. JONES

Imogene Jernigan Jones, 80, passed away Sunday at Willow Creek. She was the daughter of the late Othar and Hazel B. Jernigan, and the wife of James O. Jones. She was a former member of Love Memorial Baptist Church, as well as a retired secretary for Scott Motor Company.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A committal service will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons, James Jones and Douglas Jones, both of Goldsboro; and a grandson, Michael Jones.
