David Eugene Grady, 56, 108 Derek Drive, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late James Ernest and Nannie Carter Grady.
He was a retired painter with Dixie Paint and Wallpaper.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and the family will visit with family and friends immediately following the service and at other times, at the home. Burial will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
David is survived by his sons, David Thomas Grady and Benjamin James Grady both of Goldsboro; the mother of his children, Callie Ann Scott Grady of Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas Harold and Judy Grady of Doyline, La., and Ernest Ray and Ruthi Grady of Goldsboro; and sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda Kay Alphin and Charles Wade of Calypso and Barbara Grady Alphin of Mount Olive.
