Adelaide Hobbs Sauls died Wednesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in Chaplin, Ky., to the late Robert and Lillie Bowman Hobbs, and was married to Linwood Sauls.
A member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church, she had worked as the church secretary for 14 years.
Addie was an interior decorator and seamstress for the Cloth Barn.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Barry House officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will be receiving friends for one hour prior to the funeral service.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Christy Enriquez and husband, Donny, of Goldsboro; stepson, Alan Sauls and wife, Beth, of Goldsboro; brother, Arlin Hobbs and wife, Juanita, of Bloomfield, Ky.; nephews, Terry Hobbs and wife, Jackie, and Gary Hobbs and wife, Barbie; grandchildren, Brandon Enriquez, Abel Enriquez, Candice Enriquez, Lindsay Sauls, Josh Sauls, Destiney Sauls and Hailey Sauls; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Stella, Evan, Connor, Payton and Jacob.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
