Christopher Brents, 51, of 1100 Shelley Drive, died Thursday at the Wayne UNC Health Care.
He was born Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1966, in Bronx, N.Y., to Frank Brents and Annie Farmer.
Homegoing services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John Kingdom Ministries, Snow Hill. His mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery.
His memories are cherished by mother, Annie Farmer; a sister, Cynthia Kier, Cary; a great-aunt, Sophronia Crockett, Kentucky; his aunts, Grace Bell, Goldsboro, Phyllis Garrison (Walter), Durham, Ernestine Johnson (James), Knightdale, Virginia Douglas (Ura), Kentucky, and Leslie Brents, New York; a great-uncle, Willie Davis, Virginia; his uncles, Willie Farmer (Lucy), Wilson, and William E. Farmer (Hilda); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will assemble at the residence in preparation for the funeral cortege.
Arrangements are being handled by Haskins Funeral Home.
