Robert Daniel McCullen, 27, Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, due to a work accident.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
Robert was born in Wayne County Oct. 15, 1989, to Michael Harold McCullen and Rita Hix McCullen of Mount Olive.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his precious daughter, Bella Rose McCullen, and her mother, Rachel Weaver of Bailey; two half-brothers, Bradley Harper of Grantham and Christopher McCullen of Roanoke Rapids; half-sister, Maranda Gillam of Roanoke Rapids; his girlfriend, Melanie Kurre; his maternal grandmother, Meta Martin of Grantham; his paternal grandmother, LaVerne McCullen of Mount Olive; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold McCullen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wells Fargo Bank in Mount Olive, where a trust fund has been established for his daughter.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
