Jean Smith Suber, 78, Kinston, died Thursday.
Memorial service was held Saturday at 6 p.m. at LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ronnie V. Hobgood officiating.
She was born Jan. 15, 1939, in Lenoir County to the late Cullen Smith and Della Mae White Smith. She was married to the late Elmer Suber.
She is survived by three children.
Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
