NELL RAE COMER

Nell Rae McCullen Comer, 71, died Tuesday at Somerset Court of Goldsboro.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry McCullen and
Mildred Brogden McCullen.
Nell was a member of Brogden Chapel Church.
A funeral service will be held Friday morning at Emmaus Baptist Church at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. Committal services will be held in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service, and at other times, at the home of her son Jeral, 617 Pecan Road, Dudley.
Mrs. Comer is survived by a daughter, Anne Marie Comer Davis and husband, Emmett, of Goldsboro; a son, Jeral Lee Comer Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Dudley; grandchildren, Charlie Comer, Bonnie Ann Phillips Gill, Sandy Ezzell, Adam McCullen Davis, Hannah Marie Davis and Joseph-Tyler McCullen Davis; brothers, Billy McCullen and Michael Brogden; sisters, Peggy Vanoster, Carolyn Strickland and Kathy Smith; and great-grandchildren, Preston Wayne Comer, Russell Gill and Ryleigh on the way.
A brother, Joseph McCullen, preceded her in death.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
