Maria Fleschner Hill, age 75, died Thursday, surrounded by her family at Helping Hands Family Care Home in Goldsboro.
Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Jakob and Gertrude Lamberty Fleschner and the wife of the late David J. Hill Jr. A homemaker, she attended Pike's Crossroads PH Church.
The family will have viewing from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with Mr. Horace Modlin officiating.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Jackson Hill III (Janet) of Pikeville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terry Lynn Owens (Stevie Carl) of Pikeville, and Dianne H. Blow (Jeffrey) of Vanceboro; grandchildren, Lisa, Tanya, Jake, Cody, Andrew, Jeremy, Krista and Matt; and two great-grandchildren, Mason & Maddie.
At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Terry Owens, 2709 Nahunta Road, Pikeville.
