PEGGY FAUCETTE HUFFMAN

Peggy Faucette Huffman, 67, Goldsboro, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born in Wayne County Jan. 3, 1950, to the late John Graham Faucette and Bessie Hines Faucette.
She was married to Eddie Huffman, who preceded her in death July 28, 2005.
Peggy enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a valued child support administrator of Wayne County Social Services for more than 30 years.
Peggy loved Oakland Community Church, and was a dedicated and faithful servant her entire life.
Peggy will be remembered for her unconditional love as a wife and mother and a friend to all. So, too, will she be remembered for her compassionate spirit and soul and her gift of finding joy in doing random acts of kindness for others.
Family was paramount to Peggy, and she loved nothing more than her husband, her children and grandchildren.
She was the embodiment of love as we have been taught by our Savior, Christ Jesus.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Peggy's life at 7 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Bowden officiating. Interment will be Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Janet Michelle Huffman of Goldsboro and Stefanie Huffman Adams of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Brianna, Britney and Carson; sisters, Judy F. Smith of Goldsboro, and Betsy Lawhorn and husband, Ricky, of Goldsboro; brother, Kenneth Graham Faucette and wife, Eula, of Goldsboro; and sister-in-law, Vickie Huffman.
Peggy's family would like to acknowledge the staff of 3HC, as well as the friends, church members, caregivers, nurses and physicians, who had a profound impact on the quality of her life in recent months.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in Peggy's memory to Oakland Community Church, 921 Oakland Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 27569.
