Ernest R. Covington, 50, 104 S. Smith St., Four Oaks, died Tuesday at Barbour Court Nursing Home of Smithfield.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 at Cape Fear Headquarters of Erwin. Burial will be in Sanders Grove Baptist Church Cemetery of Smithfield.
He was born June 14, 1966, to Bishop Ernest L. and overseer Ella Terry Covington in Johnston County.
He is survived two children.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church. At other times, the family will receive friends 610 S. Massey St., Selma, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
