Edna W. Strickland, 80, Sampson County, died Saturday.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Randalls Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church of Newton Grove, with the Rev. Horace Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery of Newton Grove.
She was the daughter of the late Julius Edgar Sr. and Callie Westbrook. She was married to the late Herman E. Bass.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur R. Strickland; two daughters; a son; a stepson and a stepdaughter.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m at West and Dunn Funeral Home of Newton Grove.
