NORMA S. SWINSON
Feb. 13, 1927-March 25, 2017
Norma Luella Sampson Swinson, 90, Mount Olive, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by family.
She was born in Rushville, Ind., to the late Mull and Myrtle Sampson.
She was married for 62 years to Robert B. Swinson until his death April 3, 2016.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and longtime member of Eureka Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Brent King of Garner and Kimberly and Allison Blackman of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jackson King and Krista King both of Arlington, Va.; sister, Doris Hungerford of Rushville, Ind.; and special nieces, Beth Vacanti (Terry) of Crown Point, Ind., and Susan Schroeder (Darin) of Franklin, Ind.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Committal services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
