HAROLD L. POWELL

Harold Lyle Powell, 82, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fort Meade, Fla., he was the son of the late Lyle and Murry Walker Powell.
Harold was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will remain at the funeral home to visit with friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Doris Powell; a daughter, Deborah Smith and her husband, Ray; two sons, Mark Powell and his wife, Kathy, and Stuart Powell and his wife, Tommie Ann; three brothers, Doyle Powell, Arlie Powell and Wayne Powell; five grandchildren, Zachary Powell, Kaitlyn Powell, Adam Smith, Ashley Lukasik and Destiny Powell; and a great-grandchild, Ethan Lukasik.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kan., 66675-8517.
