Cathy Hobbs Waters, 60, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, after a short battle with cancer.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1086 N.C. 111 South, followed by the graveside at Walker Family Cemetery, Spring Bank Road in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends following the committal.
Cathy was employed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Columbus, Ohio, as a health care IT manager.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cornelius Hobbs; brother, Jeffery Hobbs; and a sister, Connie Hobbs.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Waters; mother, Merle Jean Walker Hobbs of Goldsboro; and two brothers, Randy and MaryAnn Hobbs of Norris, Tenn., and Greg and Connie Hobbs of LaGrange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
