MSGT. GRADY J. MULLINS

Retired Master Sergeant Grady Joe Mullins, 81, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Mullins was born in Haysi, Va. on July 13, 1935, to the late Bud and Elizabeth Edwards Mullins. He was a proud United States Air Force Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mae Willis Mullins; five daughters, Teresa Snyder and husband, Steve of Newport, Myra Mullins of Raleigh, Angie Warren of Holly Springs, Lisa Mullins of Raleigh and Beth Verne and husband, Chris of Apex; two sisters, Mary Willis and Jibb Turner of Haysi, Va.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Mullins and one sister, Pauline Ramey.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
