Carolyn Anderson Barr, 68, LaGrange, passed away early Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at the home of her son in Apex.
Carolyn was born in Wayne County Sept. 24, 1948, to the late Richard Allen Anderson and Betty Ruth Thomas Anderson.
She had been an employee of Electrolux in Kinston.
Those of us who knew Carolyn weep at our loss, laugh with our remembrances and reflect deeply on how much she meant to us.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service at 7 p.m. in chapel.
The family will also greet friends immediately following the service.
A private interment will be held in Wayne Memorial Park.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Joe Simoneaux and wife, Joy, of Apex, Justin Barr of LaGrange and Jaimie Barr of Cary; granddaughter, Emily Simoneaux; brothers, Jimmy Anderson, Glenn Anderson and wife, Connie, Mike Anderson and wife, Julie, and Todd Anderson and wife, Denise; and sisters, Joan Robinson and husband, Richard, and Darlene Hoffman and husband, George.
