Danna Lee Stewart Farmer, 75, Goldsboro, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at SECU Hospice House surrounded by her family.
Lee was born in Williamson, W. Va., Sept. 9, 1941, to the late John and Virginia Baisden Stewart. She was married to the late Herbert Hoover Farmer Sr.
Early in life, Lee worked with the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Goldsboro, and later worked as a supervisor with Hardee’s for many years.
She will be remembered for also serving as a representative with Avon and Tupperware.
Lee was a member of the Moose Lodge.
She was the kindest and most loving mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
A service celebrating Lee’s life will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday evening following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wayne Memorial Park.
Lee is survived by her daughters, Karen Lee Brewer and husband, Ron, of Goldsboro and Emma Wheeler Sexton and husband, Jerry, of Goldsboro; son, Herbert Hoover “Buddy” Farmer Jr. and wife, Heather, of Goldsboro; and brother, Doss Hall of Ohio.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Steven Stroud, Michael Wheeler, Kristin Brewer, Jessica Sexton, Dalton Farmer, Abby Farmer, Conner Jackson and Caleigh Farmer, and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Stroud, Landon Stroud and Maddy Wheeler.
