Gennie Jackson Britt, 98, Mount Olive, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Jordans Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Frank Sandy officiating. Interment will be at Jordans Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the funeral service from 1 to 2:45 p.m.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Delma and Betty Jackson of Goldsboro, Billy R. and Linda Jackson of Dunn, Gary and Nita Britt of Goldsboro and Sue Jackson of West Virginia; grandchildren, Betty Carole Jackson, James Alan and Jennifer Jackson, Art and Morgan Jackson, Beverly Warren, Gene and Jennifer Britt and Elizabeth Porras; sisters, Dora Mae Britt of Goldsboro and Margaret Miller of Virginia; brother, Chester Britt of Mount Olive; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert Graham Jackson and Carroll Eugene Britt; daughter, Lynette Jackson and husband, Curtis; and grandson, Brian Jackson.
Memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice or Jordans Chapel Church.
