Delma Ray Brock, 65, died Sunday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Grantham community, he was the son of Ray and Lola Mae Brock, and the husband of Betty Jean Brock.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
The burial will follow with military honors in Wayne Memorial Park.
Delma was a veteran, and retired as a master sergeant with the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to his wife and parents, Delma is survived by a son, Ben Roth of Grantham; a daughter and son-in-law, Joy B. and husband, Jeff Kennedy, of Grantham; two brothers, Roger Brock and Howard Brock both of Grantham; two sisters, Francis Smith of Goldsboro and Kay Darden of Mount Olive; and three grandchildren.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to a charity of your choice.
