JOHN LOUIS EASON III

John Louis Eason III, 64, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, at Duke Medical Center.
John was born in Wayne County July 30, 1952, to Cora Fields Eason of Goldsboro and the late John L. Eason Jr.
He was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods.
John was a member of Falling Creek United Methodist Church, and was recently attending Generations Church in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service celebrating John's life at 3:30 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, N.C. The Rev. Josh Clark and the Rev. Greg Moser will officiate.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his brother, Gary Wesley Eason and wife, Christina; niece, Sarah Elizabeth Magner and husband, Peter; nephew, Patrick Storm Eason; special friend, Janice Thompson; and his k-9 friend, Bear.
