Archie Glenn Moody, 74, Dudley, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends following the service.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
Mr. Moody was born in Wayne County Oct. 8, 1941, to the late Archie and Mertie Smith Moody.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and was employed with AP Parts until his health declined.
Mr. Moody was a member of Oak Forest Church of Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 51 years, Juanita Moody; son, Jeff Moody and wife, Karen, of Dudley; daughter-in-law, Michelle Hodkoski of Seven Springs; three grandchildren, Kristen Bingham and husband, Jason, Jessie Moody and fianceé, Kaitlyn, and Dylan Moody; and two grandchildren, Zackary and Mason.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Glenn Moody and Tony Edward Moody.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
