Randy D. "Sack" Grady, 53, passed away Friday unexpectedly.
He was the son of the late Jimmy "Red" and Helen Grady.
Mr. Grady had been an electrician with Jones and Frank.
A memorial service will be held Friday in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Grady is survived by his significant other, Anita K. Davis of Kinston; a daughter, Crystal Jane Grady of LaGrange; grandchildren, Hunter Brian Hare, Niles Lee Grady, Hannah Jane Grady, Brooklynne Paige Grady and Bryce Allen Grady; a sister, Bobbie Jean Carbonell of Wilmington; a niece, Summer Nichole Cummings and husband, Calvin, of Mena, Ark.; nephews, Master Sgt.(s) Corey Carbonell and wife, Sierra, of Wichita, Kan., and Cody Carbonell of Los Angles, Calif.; great-nieces, Sophia, Layla and Charlie; and great-nephew, Levi.
A sister, Sandy Nordean, preceded him in death.
