ELIZABETH S. MAXEY

Elizabeth Singiser Maxey, 85, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Shippensburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Boyd Lantz and Helen Singiser, and was the wife of Earl L. Maxey.
Mrs. Maxey was a retired quality control clerk for Guilford Mills.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. A committal service will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Family members will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Maxey is survived by a son, Tony Maxey and wife, Tammie, of Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Shari Westhafer and husband, Rod, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Ronda Potocki and husband, Alan, of Bridgefield, Del., and Debra Barber and husband, Zane, of Sumter, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Snyder of Fredrick, Md., and Frances "Aunt Red" of Baltimore, Md.
