Sandra Smith Vaughn, 65, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Memorial service will be held later.
She was born in Lenoir County to the late Zeb and Maggie Elizabeth Ginn Smith.
She is survived by a son.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
