LIMON ALLEN TURNER

Mr. Limon Allen Turner, 68, Ozark, Ala., died Friday, June 24, 2016, in Flowers Hospital.
A memorial service for Mr. Turner will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, from Chalkhead Baptist Church, with the Rev. Benjamin Johnson and the Rev. Tommy West officiating and Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mr. Turner was born July 22, 1947, in Mount Olive, N.C.
He served in the United States Army until his retirement in 1990.
Following his retirement, he worked with the fuel contractors at Fort Rucker.
He was a Mason and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Riley Turner; his father, Limon William Turner; and one brother, William Landis Turner.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Lyn Turner and James Paul Grider of Ozark; his mother, Carrie Lucille Hargrove Turner of Goldsboro, N.C.; one grandson, James Devin Grider of Ozark; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Butch Woerner of Goldsboro, N.C.; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Daryle Carl and Karen Turner of Goldsboro, N.C., and Cary Edwin and Janet Turner of Mount Olive, N.C.
