CYNTHIA ERWIN "CINDY" KELLER

Cynthia Erwin "Cindy" Keller, Norfolk, entered eternal life Monday, June 6, 2016, at the age of 61 years.
She was born Oct. 21, 1954, to the late Dr. Clyde Atkinson Erwin Jr. and Emily (formerly Castelloe) Erwin in Winston-Salem, N.C.
She was a devoted registered nurse, serving in health care administration for Amedisys Home Healthcare for 30 years.
Her dedication to her family was also a strong one -- using her free time away from the office to provide loving care to her mother, as well as enjoy the beach, movies and OV Little League with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Chip Erwin.
Left to cherish Cindy's memory are her husband, John Keller, with whom June 12 she would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary; daughter, Cassi Gardiner; grandchildren, Scott and Jamie Gardiner; mother, Emily Erwin; sister, Cheri Williford and her husband, Lyn, of Goldsboro, N.C.; sister, Stacy Blahove and her husband, Mark, of Savannah, Ga.; sister-in-law, Pam Todd and her husband, John; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Cindy will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon. Final rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Norfolk, Va.
Altmeyer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
