BLANCHE M. GRICE

Blanche Massey Grice, 87, passed away Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sally Edwards Massey, and was the wife of the late C.D. Grice.
Mrs. Grice was a member of Garris Chapel Church, and was retired from Borden Manufacturing and Southco Distributing.
A funeral service will be held Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Adam Seate officiating. Committal services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service Sunday evening.
Mrs. Grice is survived by daughters, Brenda Cushing and husband, Tom, of Goldsboro, Becky Herring and husband, Sherwin, of Goldsboro and Dianne Blake and husband, Floyd, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, or Garris Chapel United Methodist Church, 823 Piney Grove Church Road, LaGrange, N.C., 28551.
The family would like to thank the staff of Goldsboro Assisted Living and Kitty Askins Hospice Center for their love and care for Mrs. Grice during her stay.
