BEN EASON GOODING

Ben Eason Gooding, 67, died Monday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late George Franklin and Ellen Louise Swain Gooding.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the family visiting with friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ben had retired from Stackhouse and Mastec as an electrical power line technician.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel Earl Gooding of Princeton and Jerwayne Eason Gooding of Rosewood; a stepson, Kenneth Williford of Princeton; a daughter, Chrissey Gooding of Goldsboro; a brother, Steve Gooding of Goldsboro; and five sisters, Virginia Gurley of Goldsboro, Christine Grimes of Stantonsburg, Mamie Herring of Greenville, Dalphine Rains of Princeton and Shirley Gronovisis of Southport.
