RUBY MOZINGO GURLEY

Ruby Grace Mozingo Gurley, 87, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016, at the Brian Center.
Ruby was born in Wayne County on July 3, 1928, to the late Willie and Pauline Carter Mozingo.She was married to the late Linwood William Gurley. Ruby was a generous and gracious woman. She will be remembered for the love and laughter that she shared during her well-lived life. Ruby was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, from 1-2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Ruby's life at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Teague and the Rev. Willie Teachey officiating. Entombment will conclude the service in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Carol Ezzell of Goldsboro and Linda Grace Sarver and husband, Lyn of LaGrange; sisters, JoAnn Teachey of Pikeville and Jean Martin of Nipomo, Ca.; brother, Kenneth Ray Mozingo of Pikeville; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Linwood Earl Gurley.
