HILDA MARIE LAWS HILL

Hilda Marie Laws Hill, 89, died Saturday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Grantham, she was the daughter of the late James Luther and Eunice Bordeaux Laws and was the wife of the late Arrington Taft "A.T." Hill.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Karen Howell officiating.
Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family members will greet friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hilda, being a homemaker, was always there for her family.
She was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Women and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She enjoyed the Flying Needles Quilting Club of Grantham and participating with the Purple Star Survivors, her Relay for Life team.
Hilda is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law; Charles Richard and Louise Hill, of Mount Olive, Jimmie Taft and Diane Hill, of Raleigh, Rodney Trent and Debbie Hill, of Mount Olive, and Ronnie Lee and Vivian Hill, of Mount Olive; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Hill and Marshall Paulk, of Mount Olive; two sisters, Lola Mae Brock of Grantham and Dorothy Williams of Hudson, Fla., 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
