DOLLIE WHALEY BASDEN

Dollie W. Basden, 95, Warsaw, passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro Friday, April 15, 2016.
Mrs. Basden was born Aug. 25, 1920, in Onslow County to the late Estelle Gray Whaley and Johnny Whaley.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
Mrs. Basden is survived by son, John Lee Basden and wife, Dorothy, of Goldsboro; daughter, Margaret Pate of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Basden was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Basden; son, James Duffie Basden; granddaughter, Deborah Bland; and great-granddaughter Wendy Huseby.
