Isabell Best, 87, 1426 Airport Road, Pikeville, departed this life Sunday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born Friday, March 2, 1928, in Wayne County to Richard and Alberta Wooten Best.
In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Daniel Best.
Eulogistic services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Original Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.
Loving memories are cherished by her children, Mary Louise Barfield of Alexandria, Va., and Robert Lee Best of Pikeville; her sister, Hazel Best of Pikeville; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Thursday from 2 to 8:30 p.m., with the family present to receive friends and relatives from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
