Pamela Norris Whitfield, 164 Pinkney Court, Fremont, passed away Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Rosewood Worship Center, 2103 O'Berry Center Road, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The Rev. Lynn Epps will officiate. Committal service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the home of Danny Norris, 116 Perry Drive, Goldsboro.
Surviving are her husband, Ben Whitfield; her sons, Shane Howard and his wife, Jennifer, of High Point and Clayton Howard of Seven Springs; her father, Wilson L. Norris; a sister, Nancy Norris of Nahunta; brothers, Jeffrey Norris and wife, Tammy, of Bailey and Danny Norris of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Mary-Addison Howard, Gabe Howard and Katelyn Howard.
Mrs. Whitfield was an employee at Natvar Medical Supply.
She was a member of Rosewood Worship Center, and was a member of the Praise Team and active with the church's Outreach Program.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Phillips Norris.
Flowers are welcome, but memorials may be made to Rosewood Worship Center, 2103 O'Berry Center Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
