Frank Cecil Matsey Jr., 60, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mr. Matsey was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Aug. 30, 1955, to the late Frank Cecil and Mary Plocido Matsey.
He had a deep love for cooking and later in life, a passion for photography.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Matsey and friend, Jake Bailey, of Tennessee and Katie Simpson and husband, Jason, of Tennessee; his twin brother, Gary Matsey and wife, Ginny, of Raleigh; three sisters, Janie Fields and husband, Kenneth, of Goldsboro, Rene Seymour and husband, Tom, of Wake Forest and Teri Lindamood and husband, Mike, of Georgia; three grandchildren, Taylor, Lacey and Hayley Wagner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Although flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
