Ruth Murphy Parker Toler Brown, 94, Willow Creek Nursing Home, Goldsboro, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.
Born Oct. 7, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John Hardy Murphy and Rosa Shadding Lucas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernice E. Parker, second husband, Harris C. Toler, and third husband, Willie Brown.
There will be a graveside service Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, at 2 p.m. in Princeton Cemetery, with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Parker Jones and husband, Cecil, of Deep Run and Annette Parker Johnson and husband, David Mark, of Goldsboro; three sons, Bernice Edward Parker Jr. and wife, Mae Toler, of Goldsboro, Kenneth Ray Parker of California and Larry Keith Toler and wife, Julia Morris, of Princeton; stepchildren, Anne Toler McCormick of Carthage, Mable Toler Gray of Goldsboro, Nellie Faye Toler Martin of Princeton and H.C. Toler Jr. of Kenly; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at Princeton Cemetery Sunday, Oct., 18, 2015.
