Mr. William Rapheal Skinner Sr. transcended into eternal rest Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in Jacksonville, Fla.
A celebration of his earthly life will be held Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Augusta Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 599 Durham Lake Road, Dudley, N.C., with pastor Brady Carmack as eulogist. The committal service will follow at Wayne Memorial Park South in Dudley, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Monday, the family will assemble at the residence, 709 National Drive, Goldsboro, at 9:30 a.m. in preparation for the procession to the church.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 52-plus years, Linda McKinnie Skinner; two sons, William Rapheal (Cassandra) Skinner of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ron Skinner of Goldsboro, N.C.; one chosen son, Ted Reid of Pikeville, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Jourdan Skinner of Jacksonville, Fla.
Services entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C.
