Marshall Laverne Boyette Sr., 80, Dudley, died Oct. 2 at SECU Hospice Center in Smithfield.
Funeral will be Saturday 1 p.m. at Greenleaf Christian Disciples of Christ, with pastor Danny Wellington officiating. Interment Resthaven at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
He will lie in state from noon to the start of the funeral.
Visitation will be 2 to 7 tonight at Bishop Lonnie E. Holloway Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 1528 Old Mount Olive Hwy., Dudley.
Arrangements are by Smith-Holloway Memorial Funeral Services LLC.
