Joe Louis "Pops" Smith, 77, 2028 Azalea Drive, died Wednesday at home.
Funeral will be Monday at noon in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born July 7, 1938, in Wayne County. He was married to Joyce Williams.
He is survived by four children.
Visitation Monday from 10 to noon at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
