ESTHER COLLIER BEASLEY

Esther Collier Beasley, 95, Goldsboro, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, while surrounded by her family.
Esther was born in Wayne County May 12, 1920, to the late Benjamin and Frances Barnes Collier. She was married to the late Weldon Parrish and Needham Beasley.
Esther had worked for many years with Borden Manufacturing.
Her life was filled with humility, kindness and a love for others that she displayed in many ways.
Esther dedicated her life to serving her family unselfishly and to serving her Lord. She was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Esther enjoyed life, especially the life she had with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A service celebrating Esther's life will be held by the graveside Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Barry House officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of her daughter, Pauline Smith.
Esther is survived by her daughters, Pauline Smith of Goldsboro and Louise Grice and husband, Michael, of Goldsboro; sons, Weldon "Buddy" Parrish and wife, Kaye, of Grantham and William Ray Beasley and wife, Linda, of Pikeville; grandchildren, Craig Smith and wife, Sylvia, Joy Thorne, Amanda Roberson and husband, Doug, Dena Grice, Tammy Turnage, Scott Beasley and Jimmy Beasley; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Anne Willard, and son, Needham Beasley.
