ETHEL M. DAIL

Ethel Taylor Mozingo Dail, 92, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Ethel was born in Duplin County Oct. 16, 1922, to the late Jennie and George Frank Taylor. She was married to the late Morrice Everett Dail.

She served for many years as the secretary for the Sheriff Bill Adams at the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Ethel was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Seymour Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Linda Grider officiating.

The family, at other times, will be at the home of Kay and Tommy Smith, 407 N. Cottonwood Drive, Goldsboro.

Ethel is survived by her daughters, Linda Mozingo Malpass of Princeton, Kay Mozingo Smith and husband, Tommy, of Goldsboro and Frances Dail Grantham of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lisa Allen and husband, Scott, Kelly Malpass and friend, Cassandra Rood, Kevin Smith, Scott Smith and wife, Teresa, Robert Grantham and David Grantham; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her special loving canine friend, Precious.

The Dail family would like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Kitty Askins Hospice Center for the love and care it provided for Ethel during her final days. Simple words cannot express our gratitude.

The Dails would also like to thank the Christian Caregivers Group, who cared for Ethel over these past months.
